Representing Gautama Buddha, the historical Buddha and founder of Buddhism, it embodies serenity, mindfulness, and the path to enlightenment, making it an ideal addition to altars, meditation spaces, or personal sacred collections.

In terms of iconography, Gautama Buddha is depicted with blue hair adorned with snails, recalling the famous story of the protective snails during his meditation. His elongated ears symbolize wisdom and renunciation. Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Gautama Buddha or simply the historical Buddha, is the founder of Buddhism. He lived in ancient India (circa 5th–4th century BCE) and attained enlightenment (bodhi) under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, becoming fully awakened to the nature of reality.

The name “Shakyamuni” means “Sage of the Shakya clan,” referring to his royal lineage before renouncing worldly life. He spent the rest of his life teaching the Dharma (the path to liberation), guiding beings toward the cessation of suffering (dukkha) through ethical conduct, meditation, and wisdom.
