Created by skilled Nepali artisans from a copper body, the statue is covered with radiant 24K gold gilding and finished with detailed acrylic painting. The gilded surface emphasizes the carefully modeled robes, facial features, sacred attributes, and lotus pedestal, while the painted accents provide greater depth and visual definition. Guru Rinpoche is portrayed seated in a regal posture upon a lotus pedestal, wearing richly layered robes and his distinctive lotus hat. His right hand holds a vajra near his heart, while his left hand supports a skull cup containing a longevity vase. A trident-topped khatvanga rests against his left shoulder, completing his traditional appearance as the revered tantric master Padmasambhava.
