Namgyalma, also known as Ushnishavijaya, is one of the most revered figures in the Buddhist tradition, specifically associated with longevity, merit, and purification. Often depicted within a stupa, she is a manifestation of the Buddha’s ushnisha, or crown protrusion, embodying the victory over obstacles that shorten life. Practitioners turn to her for protection from untimely death and to cultivate the wisdom necessary for spiritual liberation and the accumulation of positive karma.
