Handmade Statue of Avalokiteshwor stands at 21.1 inches (53.5 cm) in height with a base measuring 16.3 inches (41.5 cm), and weighs 16.17 kg. The statue is made of Oxidized copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture is handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.
Avalokiteshvara is depicted with a serene, compassionate expression and a radiant blue or white body, symbolizing purity and compassion's boundless nature. He sits in the relaxed lotus position (padmasana) atop a double lotus pedestal, symbolizing spiritual purity and detachment from the mundane world. The right hand is extended over the knee in the gesture of supreme generosity (varada mudra), signifying his readiness to help all beings.
