He performs the dhyana mudra (gesture of meditation), with both hands resting in his lap and holding a kalasha, a sacred vase containing the nectar of immortality. Amitayus wears an ornate five-pointed crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, along with finely detailed ornaments and flowing garments that highlight his enlightened nature as the embodiment of boundless life and vitality.
