Kshitagarbha is depicted seated in calm composure upon a moon disc lotus base, symbolizing purity and the awakened mind. His right hand holds a cintamaṇi, the wish-fulfilling jewel representing his boundless compassion and power to grant the deepest spiritual aspirations. He has a wheat-like stalk in his left hand, evoking themes of nourishment, fertility, and cultivating virtue. He is adorned with a five-pointed crown, symbolizing the wisdom of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, and a prominent uṣṇīṣa rises above his head, signifying his enlightened status.
