Skillfully handcrafted from a copper body, it is richly adorned with 24K gold gilding that radiates a sacred and luminous glow. Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted sitting in the lotus pose (padmasana), indicating his steady concentration and mastery over the distractions of the material world.
