Himalayan Art of Indoor Guru Rinpoche Statue
We carved this Indoor Guru Rinpoche statue by hand and plated it with pure 24k gold in the traditional way. The rob's design is particularly appealing, as it is turquoise and decorated with exquisite pearls and gems. Acrylic paints, copper, and rubies were combined by the artist to sculpt this wonderful Himalayan art. With a semi wrathful expression, the deity sits atop a sun disc lotus seat. The Khatvang, crown and lotus seat was deftly crafted and sculpted by Kathmandu valley artists.

Guru Rinpoche's teachings are claimed to have an oral lineage in Tibetan Buddhism.
