The Karmapa Copper Statue embodies spiritual leadership and protection. It stands 13.4 inches tall with a base width of 9.4 inches and weighs 3.46 kg. This sculpture, crafted from a copper body with 24K gold gilding and intricate gold and acrylic paintings, embodies the Karmapa's dedication to disseminating wisdom, compassion, and spiritual protection. Karma is depicted seated in padmasana (cross-legged meditative posture) upon a lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual elevation. He wears the distinctive Kagyu hat, representing his lineage and status as a revered master within the Kagyu tradition.

In his right hand, he holds a vajra, symbolizing indestructible insight and the unshakable nature of enlightened mind. His left hand carries a skull cup (kapala) filled with a kalasha, representing the transformation of defilements into wisdom and the abundance of spiritual blessings. This combination reflects both tantric mastery and the integration of method and insight.

There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
