Kistigarbha 24K Gold Gilded Statue: A Beacon of Hope and Deliverance

This exquisite Kshitigarbha 24K Gold Gilded Statue is meticulously handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, preserving the rich traditions of Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship. Standing 13.8 inches (35 cm) in height with a 10-inch (25.5 cm) base and weighing 4.88 kg, this elegant sculpture is expertly crafted from a copper body and finished with radiant 24K gold gilding and vibrant acrylic painting. Its graceful proportions, intricate detailing, and luminous finish make it an exceptional centerpiece for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, temples, or treasured spiritual collections.

The statue portrays Kshitigarbha seated serenely upon a beautifully sculpted lotus throne in the traditional vajra posture. His right hand holds the wish-fulfilling jewel (cintamani), while his left hand supports the khakkhara (monastic staff), the characteristic attributes of the bodhisattva. He is adorned with an ornate crown, elegant earrings, layered necklaces, armlets, bracelets, and richly decorated robes highlighted by brilliant 24K gold gilding and detailed acrylic painting. His peaceful expression, elongated earlobes, and finely rendered facial features demonstrate the remarkable precision and artistry of skilled Nepali craftsmen.

He is known as a protector of children and the patron deity of deceased children and aborted fetuses in Japanese culture (Jizo Bodhisattva). He embodies immense compassion, tirelessly working to alleviate suffering in all realms.
