Bejeweled Traditional Tibetan Style Statue of Kshitigarbha Bodhisattva

The Kshitigarbha bodhisattva is depicted serenely seated atop a moon disc lotus seat holding a pearl in his hand, which represents his role as a protector and guide for all beings who are lost, suffering, or in need of help. He can be seen wearing a five-jeweled crown representing the five transcendental virtues of wisdom, compassion, generosity, morality, and meditation. The statue features intricately detailed hand-carvings done on the copper body with hammers and chisels by our artisans in our studio, especially for his robe, lotus seat, and headpiece.

The statue has an antique finish giving it an elegant element of antiquity. It is a beautiful and meaningful addition to any sacred space or meditation practice.

Chinese and Japanese Buddhists respect and worship Kshitigarbha, one of the most well-known bodhisattvas. Ti Tsang P'usa, or Bodhisattva, is a Buddhist monk known as Ti Tsang P'usa. "Earth Treasury," "Earth Store," "Earth Matrix," or "Earth Womb" is the meaning of the term "Ksitigarbha." The Great Vow of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha was to aid and rescue all creatures. The Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha was shown as a Buddhist monk with a shaved head, modest clothing, and a staff.
