Traditionally Handmade Buddhist Statue of Kshitigarbha
We are a group of sculpting scared deities artists based in Kathmandu, Nepal, who sculpted this beautiful Bodhisattva Kshitigarbha Statue in traditional Himalayan Art. We used genuine 24k gold to paint the face and the crown of the statue, while we used rich acrylic painting for the body and lotus seat. A sliver painting has also been used to give a unique look to the figure. He is depicted seated on a lotus seat wearing his precious ornaments crafted magnificently. He holds a pearl with magical properties beyond description in his right hand. His left hand also depicts the Varada mudra, which means "gift offering." His headdress, designed like petals of the lotus, looks desirable in his black hair with other jewels on top of his hair bun.

"Earth Treasury," "Earth Store," "Earth Matrix," or "Earth Womb" is the meaning of the term "Ksitigarbha." The Great Vow of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha was to aid and rescue all creatures. The Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha was shown as a Buddhist monk with a shaved head, modest clothing, and a staff.
