Our Longchenpa Copper Statue is a stunning tribute to one of Tibetan Buddhism's most revered saints. This sculpture, which stands an impressive 12.7 inches tall, is a masterpiece of traditional Tibetan workmanship and spiritual dedication.
Longchen Rabjam is depicted seated in padasana, the perfect cross-legged meditative posture, upon a fully blossomed lotus base symbolizing purity and transcendence. He wears the distinctive Nyingma hat, identifying his lineage and role as a revered master of the Nyingma school.
His right hand holds a lotus stem topped with a sword, the blade of wisdom that cuts through obscurations and dispels ignorance. His left hand holds utpala, which bears the Prajnaparamita Sutra, representing ultimate wisdom and the perfection of insight. Despite having these sacred attributes, both hands rest gently on his lap, expressing serene composure and profound meditative awareness.
