24k Gold Gilded Machig Labdron Statue for Meditation and Ritual
The Machig Labdron statue was expertly hand-carved in the traditional Himalayan style by Vajrayana craftsmen from the Kathmandu Valley. This statue, carved by applying the 3D carving effect with multilayered carvings over its body, is made of fine copper triple-layered with genuine gold. The statue depicts the Yogini standing atop a moon disc lotus seat in the tree pose, holding a drum in her right hand and a ritual bell in her left hand. She is depicted possessing the third eye and is surrounded by fiery motifs. This statue is the result of months' worth of hand-carving work by our traditionally trained Vajrayan Artists. The additional precious carved gemstones to the lotus seat adorn the statue.
Truly a perfect addition to your Buddhist shrine or can be used as a meditative accompaniment for yourself or for any devotee.

Machig was a self-styled beggar woman and was a distinctive individual for being the Tibetan Woman and the progenitor of a particular tradition. Her life is an inspiring story of a committed practitioner, at-times beggar woman, brilliant teacher, mother, and lineage founder. This tradition spread back into the Buddhist motherland of India. It was a cause for great national pride in Tibet. And she left a tremendous legacy of her teachings.
