This wrathful deity stands proudly on a beautifully detailed lotus throne, symbolizing purity and enlightenment, elevated above a base richly decorated with intricate golden patterns that highlight its sacred nature. Wrapped in a radiant halo of stylized flames, the figure bursts with fierce energy and transformative power. Its red face, complete with bulging eyes and bared fangs, fiercely wards off evil, while three all-seeing eyes reveal wisdom that transcends time. He is a wrathful form of Mahakala, mainly associated with the Karma Kagyu lineage, and serves as the personal protector of the Karmapas. His dark form symbolizes the power to destroy ignorance and obstacles on the path to enlightenment.
