Traditionally Sculpted Maitreya Buddha Art
We have magnificently sculpted the art of Maitreya Buddha in traditional Himalayan style. In this Buddhist statue, we have depicted a deity seated on top of a cushioned seat with a tranquil expression. We have hand carved the figurine in a pure copper body, gilded with genuine 24k gold and finely hand painted with acrylic colors. The elegantly adorned turquoise halo illuminates his face while the robe, beautifully embellished with valuable jewels and gemstones, engulfs his presence. You can use this statue in meditational or yoga activities and other Buddhist traditions. This art of Nepal will be a tremendous gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Maitreya, in the Buddhist tradition, the future Buddha, presently a bodhisattva residing in the Tushita heaven, who will descend to earth to preach anew the dharma (“law”) when the teachings of Gautama Buddha have completely decayed. Maitreya is the earliest Bodhisattva around whom a cult developed and is mentioned in scriptures from the 3rd century CE. He was accepted by all schools of Buddhism and is still the only bodhisattva generally honored by the Theravada tradition.
