Finely Hand Carved Manjushri Sculpture
We have exquisitely hand-painted the sculpture of Manjushri with acrylic colors, hand-carved in pure copper body, and genuinely gilded with 24k gold. We represent the Kathmandu valley in making ancient Vajrayana statues, carrying a history of artisan passed from many generations. We have portrayed a wisdom deity on top of a moon disc lotus seat, carrying a wisdom sword in his right hand. In contrast, he holds a lotus in his left hand where the wisdom book is paced above it. Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the compassion bodhisattvas, is more famous among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.
