Description

Oxidized Copper Bodhisattva Manjushri Statue for Buddhist Altars

This exquisite piece of bodhisattva Manjushri statue employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio using the machine. Here, in the statue, the compassionate Bodhisattva is depicted seated atop a moon disc lotus seat with a tender expression wielding a blazing sword, a symbol of his ability to cut through negativity and ignorance. He can be seen performing the 'Vitraka mudra' with his left hand, which symbolizes the transmission of the Buddha's teaching. The statue is full of intricate patterns and motifs that our artists carved out over the course of several months.

Add this Manjushri Bodhisattva statue to your shrine, or gift it to a devotee like yourself for daily Buddhist rituals and activities.

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the compassion bodhisattvas, is more famous among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.
