Manjushri is revered as the Wisdom Bodhisattva, embodying supreme insight as the path to enlightenment. In Mahayana Buddhism, he represents prajna, the transcendental wisdom that reveals the ultimate truth. Tantric traditions of Northern Buddhism regard Manjushri as a fully enlightened Buddha with numerous manifestations. Across the four divisions of Tantra, he appears in diverse forms—ranging from simple to complex—and is depicted in eleven principal aspects, including peaceful, semi-peaceful, wrathful, and animal-featured manifestations.
