Gold Gilded Medicine Buddha Chant Practice Statue for Healing
This exquisite piece of Medicine Buddha chant practice statue employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. This statue was hand-carved in our studio out of fine copper, which was then gilded with pure gold for the final brilliant luster. In the statue, the Buddha is depicted sitting peacefully and serenely on a moon disc lotus seat, holding a myrobalan flower in his right hand, which represents his healing power and is a symbol of his ability to cure all kinds of diseases and afflictions. He also can be seen carrying an alms bowl containing the nectar of immortality with his left hand. The acrylic painting highlights his peaceful and compassionate facial expressions, while the additional colorful stones to the statue adorn the deity.
The statue is perfect for any devotee like yourself and can be used for various Buddhist rituals and activities like meditation and yoga.

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness while emphasizing the need for prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.
