Himalayan Mitrugpa Handmade Statue | Akshobhya Buddha Artwork

This Mitrugpa Statue, also known as Akshobhya Buddha, stands at 14.2”/36cm in height and 9.8”/25cm at the base, with a weight of 5.22 kg. Made from 24K Gold Gilded, Gold & Acrylic Paintings, Copper Body, and adorned with gemstones, this magnificent piece is a fine example of skilled Nepali craftsmanship. The serene presence of Mitrugpa symbolizes unshakable resolve and the transformation of anger into wisdom. Ideal for altars or meditation rooms, this statue brings a sense of spiritual clarity and inner strength to any sacred space.

Mitrugpa is shown wearing a five-pointed crown, which represents the wisdom of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. He has a raised ushnisha on top of his head, symbolizing spiritual wisdom. In his left hand, he holds an upright vajra, a symbol of unbreakable strength and power. His right hand reaches down in the earth-touching gesture (bhumisparsha mudra), showing the moment he called the earth to witness his enlightenment. He sits in the vajra posture, a stable seated position, on a beautifully detailed lotus base, which stands for purity and spiritual awakening.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, Buddha Akshobhya, sometimes referred to as Mitrupa or the Unshakable One is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. He stands for the way that rage and hostility are transformed into the clear, introspective insight that recognizes reality for what it is. Deep blue is a hue that is frequently used to represent Akshobhya, signifying the depth and breadth of his intellect.
