Handcrafted Himalayan Mitrugpa Tibetan Buddhism Deity Statue | Mitrugpa Sculpture for Altars and Shrine

The Mitrugpa Statue, a deity in Tibetan Buddhism, represents immovable wisdom, clarity, and spiritual protection. Mitrugpa, known for his steadfast nature, is connected with overcoming ignorance and negative energy. This handcrafted statue, measuring 13" (Height) x 9.4" (Base) and weighing 3.94 kg, is made of copper and embellished with  24K gold gilding, as well as gold and acrylic paints. This sacred sculpture, created by talented Nepalese artisans, symbolizes the profound creativity of Himalayan Buddhism, making it an excellent addition to altars, meditation rooms, or sacred collections.

The Mitrugpa Buddha is serenely seated atop a moon disc lotus seat in a lotus posture. The lotus motif represents purity, enlightenment, and the triumph of spirit over adversity. The blue color of Mitrugpa Buddha symbolizes clean water, wisdom, and the ability to reflect objects without being affected by them. He holds a vajra, a ritual item, in his right hand while performing the 'Bhumisparsa mudra,' representing the moment the Buddha attained enlightenment claiming the earth as his witness with his left hand.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, Buddha Akshobhya, sometimes referred to as Mitrupa or the Unshakable One, is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. He stands for the way that rage and hostility are transformed into the clear, introspective insight that recognizes reality for what it is. Deep blue is a hue that is frequently used to represent Akshobhya, signifying the depth and breadth of his intellect.
