Namgyalma, or Ushnishavijaya, is a highly respected Buddhist deity who stands for long life, cleanliness, and safety. Her three faces tell a story of deep spiritual knowledge, overcoming obstacles, and keeping safe from harm. The ushnisha crown on her head shows that she is wise, and the lotus throne below her shows that she is pure and growing spiritually. She carries a lotus or Amitabha Buddha in her upper right hand, which gives her healing and long life. The varada mudrā, which means "compassionate wish fulfillment," is on her lower right hand. She faces problems with skill while holding a bow and arrow, and the double vajra she wields represents wisdom that cannot be shaken. The holy jar she carries is full of the nectar of immortality, symbolizing rejuvenation and lasting life. Namgyalma emanates inner power, spiritual protection, and the transformative path to enlightenment and well-being when she sits firmly in the vajra position.
