This golden Nepalese Craft Guru Rinpoche Statue, also known as Padmasambhava, weighs 71.95 kg and stands 41.5”/105.5cm in height and 29.5”/75cm at the base. Made from copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. Guru Rinpoche, also honored as Padmasambhava and regarded as the Second Buddha, was instrumental in the foundation of Vajrayana Buddhism. His right hand grips a vajra, representing steadfast wisdom and clarity of mind. Resting on his shoulder is the khatvanga trident, a powerful tantric symbol signifying control over the three realms of existence. This trident also represents the Three Kayas: Dharmakaya (the ultimate truth or essence of reality), Sambhogakaya (the enjoyment body experienced by advanced practitioners), and Nirmanakaya (his manifested form guiding others).
