This oxidized copper statue features Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, seated with his consort. Measuring 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) in height and 7.1 inches (18 cm) at the base, it weighs 2.24 kilograms. The statue is enhanced with delicate acrylic paintings that highlight its intricate details and is carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. Handcrafted with care, this piece is perfect for adding a symbol of wisdom and spiritual insight to your altar or meditation space. This exquisite statue was skillfully created by our esteemed senior late artist, Mohan Shakya, whose legacy continues to inspire.

Manjushri is traditionally depicted holding the flaming sword of wisdom that cuts through ignorance, and a lotus supporting the Prajñāpāramitā (Perfection of Wisdom) text, while his consort often embraces him in a posture of sacred union, embodying compassion and blissful awareness. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
