Lokeshwar, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, is portrayed here in a distinctive regal posture (lalitasana), seated gracefully upon a lion-like mythical creature that symbolizes courage and noble strength. His left hand holds a utpala lotus, a symbol of spiritual purity and awakened wisdom, while his left arm elegantly sweeps behind his legs, reinforcing his relaxed yet sovereign presence. His throne is crowned with a small figure of Amitabha Buddha, his spiritual guide and the Buddha of Infinite Light, emphasizing Lokeshwar's connection to the Amitabha family and the pure land of Sukhavati. To his right, a trident stands tall, symbolizing his dominion over the three realms (desire, form, and formlessness) and the overcoming of ego, aversion, and ignorance. A second lotus flower blooms on his left, echoing his unshakable purity and compassion. The oxidized copper finish enhances the depth and fine detailing, giving the statue a timeless, meditative presence—perfectly capturing his role as the ever-watchful protector of all sentient beings.
