Hand Painted Guru Padmasambbhava Tibetan Statue
The art of Guru Padmasambhava statue was traditionally carved by hand and gilded with pure 24-karat gold. The crown's design is quite appealing, as it is turquoise and decorated with valuable pearls and gems. This sculpture has been deftly crafted, embellished, and sculpted with expensive jewels and ornaments by Kathmandu Valley artists. With a semi-wrathful expression, the deity sits on a lotus seat. He holds a vajra in his right hand and a skull vase filled with immortality nectar in his left. Similarly, he has the Khatvang trident in the curve of his left hand.
