Designed by talented Nepalese artisans, it is made from a copper body and beautifully adorned with 24K gold gilding, gold and acrylic paintings, and hand-carved gemstones. Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, is revered as the Second Buddha and a central figure in the spread of Vajrayana Buddhism. In his left hand, he holds a kapala containing the vase of immortality, symbolizing boundless spiritual wealth and transcendence over death. His right hand holds a vajra, representing unshakable wisdom and clarity. Resting against his shoulder is the khatvanga trident, a tantric symbol of his consort and mastery over the three realms. It also represents the Three Kayas: Dharmakaya (the truth body—absolute reality), Sambhogakaya (the enjoyment body—blissful form perceived by advanced practitioners), and Nirmanakaya (the emanation body—manifested in the world to guide beings). Adorned with a lotus and feather crown, he sits in a regal posture, radiating enlightened activity as he blends deep stillness with powerful compassion.
