This Radiant Lokeshwor Statue, also known as Chenrezig, stands at 35.6”/90.5cm in height and 21.7”/55cm at the base, weighing 23.81 kg. Made from copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, adorned with hand-carved gemstones, handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.
Lokeshwor, also known as Chenrezig, is depicted seated on a beautifully crafted moon disc throne, symbolizing purity and transcendence. His right hand displays multiple gestures: the varada mudrā (gesture of giving), rosary (mala) symbolizing continuous compassion, and the abhaya mudrā (gesture of fearlessness), offering protection and reassurance. In his left hand, he holds the utpala flower representing purity, a trident symbolizing power and protection, and a kalasha (sacred vase) signifying abundance and spiritual blessings. Atop his five-pointed crown rests the figure of Amitabha Buddha, linking him to infinite light and compassion. Behind him shines a radiant halo made of flowers, symbolizing his divine and compassionate nature.
