Golden Radiant Handmade Statue of Bodhisattva Green Tara

This Radiant Statue of Bodhisattva Green Tara stands at 9.6”/24.5cm in height and 8.5”/21.5cm at the base, weighing 2.20 kg. Crafted from a copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, adorned with gemstones, handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

Green Tara is depicted poised with her right leg extended forward, ready to spring into action for those who seek her aid, while her left leg remains folded in serene meditation. Her right hand displays the varada mudrā, a gesture of generosity, and her left hand holds the vitarka mudrā, representing wisdom and teaching. Each hand gently supports a blossoming utpala lotus, symbolizing purity and liberation. Green Tara, known as Shyama Tara, is one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism. She is regarded as the embodiment of compassionate action and is often referred to as the "Mother of all Buddhas." Green Tara is believed to have been born from the compassionate tears of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), taking a female form to help liberate beings from suffering.
