The Handcrafted Radiant Statue of Guru Padmasambhava | Tantric Buddha

Handcrafted Radiant Statue of Guru Padmasambhava stands at 16.3 inches (41.5 cm) in height, with a base width of 9.4 inches (24 cm), and weighs 6.55 kg. Expertly made from a  copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. This sculpture, handcrafted by expert Nepalese artisans, elegantly symbolizes Himalayan Buddhism's sacred traditions, making it an appropriate addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

Guru Padmasambhava is depicted sitting in a royal ease pose (Lalitāsana), symbolizing his regal and enlightened presence. His right hand holds a vajra at his heart, signifying indestructible compassion and skillful means, while his left hand holds a skull cup (kapala) filled with the nectar of wisdom, which he cradles in his arm. He sits atop a lotus pedestal, representing purity and spiritual awakening.

Guru Padmasambhava, also known as Padmasambhava, was a legendary Indian tantric master who traveled to Tibet in the 8th century. He is regarded as the "Second Buddha" and is credited with converting Tibet to Buddhism. In addition to founding the Nyingma school, Tibet's oldest and most significant Buddhist school, he is credited with creating numerous sacred texts and monasteries. His teachings have survived to this day and continue to influence numerous Tibetan Buddhist practitioners.
