Gold-Plated Tibetan Art Of Relaxing Buddha Shakyamuni
The Relaxing Buddha Shakyamuni Statue was traditionally handmade here in our studio. It was carved with traditional methods handed down from generation to generation and polished with fine details. The molding of the body was done with copper and gilded with pure 24-karat gold. In the statue, we have depicted the deity with a serene look while sitting on a moon disc lotus. With his right hand resting softly on the ground, he carries an alms bowl with his left hand over his lap. Practitioners can use the statue for various disciplines, including yoga, meditation, and several auspicious rites. We have hand-carved fine details on the robe and adorned it with precious gemstones.
This figurine will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
