This handcrafted sacred Buddhism kshitigarbha, measuring 10.4" (26.5cm) tall with a base width of 7.7" (19.5cm), is a wonderful example of Tibetan religious art. It has a copper body and is embellished with 24K gold gilding and detailed gold and acrylic paints, giving it a bright and awe-inspiring appearance. Every detail, from Kshitigarbha's peaceful demeanor to his delicately carved clothes, is executed with amazing expertise by Nepali artisans.
The god is depicted sitting serenely on a moon disc lotus, clutching an incredible magical pearl in his right hand. Additionally, his left hand displays the Varada mudra, which translates to "gift giving."
