Standing 21.3 inches (54 cm) tall and 15 inches (38 cm) at the base, this handcrafted golden statue of Guru Rinpoche, also called Padmasambhava, weighs 10.32 kg. It is expertly carved from copper and gilded in three layers of 24K gold. Its deeply engraved carvings give it a wonderful three-dimensional look and add to its bright presence.

A khatvanga staff, which represents his spiritual authority and unity with the consort, rests on his left shoulder. A glowing halo behind him represents his unending enlightenment and the bright energy that chases away all darkness.
