Beautifully Acrylic Painted Buddhist Statue of Samantabhadra and Consort
In Nepalese Himalayan Art, we hand-carved the sculpture of Samantabhadra and Consort. We are a family of sculptors whose talents have been passed down from generation to generation. This one-of-a-kind image depicts Samantabhadra and Consort "Yab-Yum" sitting on a lotus moon disc in a vajra posture in a sacred union position. Samantabhadra's hands are wrapped around Samantabhadri in meditation posture. The statue's body was sculpted in cooper, and Rich acrylic paintings were used to bring the statue to life.

In Mahayana Buddhism, Samantabhadra is a bodhisattva (buddha-to-be) representing benevolence or happiness. He is frequently depicted in a triad with Shakyamuni (the Buddha) and the bodhisattva Manjushri, either on a three-headed elephant or a single-headed elephant with six tusks. In China, he is the patron deity of Mount Emei, located in the province of Sichuan. He is regarded as the manifestation of Vairocana, the cosmic Buddha, in Vajrayana, or Tantric Buddhism. In Chinese, he is known as Puxian, while in Japanese, he is known as Fugen.
