She bears a lion’s face with fangs and three eyes, representing fearlessness, awareness, and the all-seeing wisdom of enlightenment. Adorned with a five-skull crown that signifies the transformation of the five poisons into transcendent wisdom, she wields a kartika (curved flaying knife) in her right hand, cutting through ego and illusion, while her left hand holds a kapala (skull cup) filled with the nectar of awakened insight. Resting upon her left shoulder is a khaṭvāṅga staff, symbolizing her tantric consort and the union of method and wisdom.
