Five Bodhisattva Statue Set | Handcrafted Buddhist Deities in Copper & Gold
This statue set of bodhisattvas features Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara, Green Tara, Vajrasattva, and Amitayus, measuring 25.8”/65.5cm in height and 19.3”/49cm at the base, is made of copper, covered with a triple layer of 24K gold gilding, and carved with deeply engraved carvings that produce a magnificent 3D-like effect. The Manjushri statue holds a flaming sword in his right hand, symbolizing wisdom that cuts through ignorance, while his left hand holds a Prajnaparamita Sutra scripture, representing the perfection of wisdom. Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig) , the embodiment of compassion, performs the Anjali Mudra (prayer gesture) with both hands, symbolizing reverence and compassion. Green Tara holds a lotus in her left hand and performs the Varada Mudra (gesture of giving) with her right, symbolizing her readiness to help and bless others. Vajrasattva holds a vajra in his right hand, signifying indestructible wisdom, and a bell in his left hand, representing the ultimate truth of emptiness. Amitayus holds a vase filled with nectar in his left hand, symbolizing longevity and spiritual nourishment, while his right hand grants blessings, offering health and longevity to all beings.
