Shakya Mahakala is a prominent Dharmapala (protector of the Dharma) in Tibetan Buddhism, explicitly revered in the Sakya tradition. He is an emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, taking on a wrathful form to subdue inner and outer obstacles to spiritual practice. His practice aims to clear hindrances and provide conditions conducive to enlightenment.

There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
