The statue is carved from a copper statue and gilded with genuine 24k gold. The artists have depicted the statue with Shakyamuni Buddha seated over a moon disc lotus with a serene expression. The face of the Buddha is illuminated by the gold gilded halo, which is placed behind the statue.
