This Shakyamuni Buddha statue is depicted seated in the Padmasana (Lotus posture) with a serene, meditative pose. His right hand is in the bhumisparsha mudra, touching the earth to symbolize enlightenment, while his left hand holds an alms bowl, representing renunciation and compassion. Draped in traditional monastic robes and seated on a square base, this oxidized copper artwork embodies timeless spiritual grace, making it an ideal addition to meditation spaces or sacred altars.

Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama was Buddha's original name. Only when he became the Buddha was he given the name Shakyamuni. Buddha means "awakened one" in Sanskrit. In his left hand, he carries an alms bowl filled with three priceless nectars, signifying his victory over the three demons of uncontrollable death, polluted aggregates, and delusion.

Consecration Service Available
Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
