Shakyamuni Buddha, Enlightened One, Sculpture stands 13.4 inches (34 cm) tall with a base measuring 9.3 inches (23.5 cm) wide and weighs 3.77 kilograms. Meticulously handcrafted from a copper body and adorned with 24K gold gilding and detailed gold and acrylic paintings, it radiates a luminous and sacred presence. Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted serenely seated in the lotus position, radiating steadfast concentration and victory over earthly temptations. His right hand extends downward in the bhumisparsha mudra, summoning the earth to witness his enlightenment. At the same time, his left hand rests gently in his lap, cradling an alms bowl in dhyana mudra, representing deep meditation and the mindful journey toward awakening. Shakyamuni Siddhartha Gautama was Buddha's original name. Only when he became the Buddha was he given the name Shakyamuni. Buddha means "awakened one" in Sanskrit. In his left hand, he carries an alms bowl filled with three priceless nectars, signifying his victory over the three demons of uncontrollable death, polluted aggregates, and delusion.
