Standing at 17.7 inches tall, this beautiful depiction of Buddha is exceptional. The craftsmanship of the statue is brilliant, made from the Oxidized Copper Body. Our Nepali artists have sculpted this statue with precise details and with fine finishing. The Buddha is depicted sitting atop a double lotus seat with a calm expression. His right hand is downward in the earth-touching gesture (bhumisparsha mudra), with which he calls the earth goddess Sthavara to affirm that he is entitled to attain enlightenment, and in his right hand, he holds an alms bowl. The statue has a hollow body perfectly ready for the auspicious consecration.
