Shakyamuni Buddha Fire Gold Coated Statue |  Emblem of Enlightened Peace

Shakyamuni Buddha Fire Gold Coated Statue: Emblem of Enlightened Peace is a carefully handcrafted Himalayan sculpture created in Nepal by skilled artisans following traditional Buddhist metalworking methods. Measuring 7.6”/19.5cm in height with a 5.5”/14cm base and weighing 1.14 kg, this sacred artwork features a copper body adorned with 24K gold gilding and detailed acrylic painting. The fire gold coating enhances the surface with a warm and luminous finish, while the hand-applied painted details bring subtle depth and refinement to the sculpture. Crafted with devotion and generations of Nepalese artistry, this piece represents enlightened peace, spiritual awareness, and the teachings of the Buddha, making it a meaningful addition to Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, and collections of Himalayan sacred art.

The historical Buddha and founder of the Buddhist teachings represents awakening, wisdom, compassion, and liberation from suffering. His sacred form reflects the realization attained through meditation, ethical discipline, and profound insight into the nature of existence. He is traditionally depicted seated in the vajra posture (lotus posture) upon a lotus pedestal, symbolizing unwavering stability, purity, and the peaceful state of enlightened awareness. His right hand displays the Bhumisparsha Mudra (earth-touching gesture), representing the moment of enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree when he called the Earth to witness his realization, while his left hand rests in the Dhyana Mudra, expressing deep meditation, concentration, and inner tranquility. The ushnisha atop his head symbolizes awakened wisdom, the urna represents spiritual insight, and the elongated earlobes reflect his former royal life and renunciation of worldly attachments. His simple monastic robes express humility, discipline, and freedom from material desires, while his serene expression embodies complete realization and boundless compassion, inspiring practitioners to cultivate mindfulness, wisdom, and the path toward liberation

Siddhartha Gautama, known as Shakyamuni Buddha, was the historical founder of Buddhism. Born in ancient Lumbini (present-day Nepal), his quest for truth led him to renounce worldly life, eventually achieving full enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. He spent the remainder of his life teaching the Dharma, advocating for a path to liberation from suffering through wisdom and compassion.
