Shakyamuni Buddha founder of Buddhism figure represents the height of Nepalese creativity and spiritual workmanship. It is made of copper and is embellished with vivid paintings in gold and acrylic as well as 24K gold gilding.

The sculpture depicts Buddha with his right hand resting on his knee and his fingers touching the earth, forming the Earth-touching mudra. His left hand is pleasantly resting on his lap, holding an alms bowl. This attitude represents enlightenment, anchoring, and the Buddha's bond with the earth and his pupils.
