Gold-Gilded Shakyamuni Buddha Mantra Practice Statue
In our workshop, skilled artisans from the Kathmandu Valley created the Crowned Blessing Buddha Sculpture statue in the classic Himalayan Art style. The deity is seen as calm and at peace while perched on a moon disc lotus seat. His right hand is doing the mudra of the earth-touching while his left hand is holding an alms bowl. We adorned the deity with crowns and other decorative body jewelry. The statue is encrusted with valuable corals and jewels, which can be seen on the crown, robe, and lotus seat. Copper is used to forming the figure, and real 24K gold is then used for gilding it. We used a hammer and chisels to manually carve detailed design patterns onto the statue, particularly on the robe. The use of acrylic paints emphasizes the facial attributes of the deity.
This figurine of the Historical Gautama Buddha will be a perfect gift from Nepal to a devotee like you that will aid you in your practices and regular activities such as meditation and yoga.

Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom and was raised to be a monarch by his royal father's wishes. He heard about people's enormous anguish when he was approximately 29. He gave up his palace life and all of his opulent robes and wealth to figure out what was causing the pain and how to relieve it. He reached his goal after nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and intense focus. He'd reached nirvana (a Buddha). He then claimed to have gone to a deer park in Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
