Our sculpture, the Handmade Shakyamuni Buddha Religious Statue for the shrine, is composed of oxidized copper with gold and acrylic painting, demonstrating the eternal elegance of traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. This artistry, passed down through generations of Nepali artists, reflects a rich cultural legacy. Each detail is painstakingly carved, exuding a tranquil presence that elevates any spiritual environment while providing a connection to peace and mindfulness.
The sculpture shows Buddha with his right hand resting meditatively and his fingers touching the earth, representing the Earth-touching mudra. His left hand holds an alms bowl. This attitude represents enlightenment and the Buddha's bond with the planet and pupils.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
