Created in Nepal with the refined precision of traditional Himalayan metalwork, this Shakyamuni Buddha Sacred Rupa for Inner Peace measures 8.6”/22 cm in height, rests on a 6.3”/16 cm base, and weighs 1.43 kg. The hand-sculpted copper body is finished with luminous 24K gold gilding and delicate acrylic painting, which defines the tranquil facial expression, carefully arranged monastic robes, and ornate lotus pedestal. Seated in the vajra posture, his right hand forms the bhumisparsha mudra, calling the earth to witness his awakening, while the left rests in the dhyana mudra holding an alms bowl. The ushnisha, urna, and elongated earlobes further reflect his enlightened state and renunciation of worldly privilege.

Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha and founder of Buddhist teachings, represents wisdom, compassion, mindfulness, and liberation from suffering.
