Description

Shakyamuni Buddha Sacred Dharma Guide Statue: An Emblem of Enlightened Serenity

This Shakyamuni Buddha Sacred Dharma Guide Statue stands 12.6 inches (32 cm) high upon a 9.6-inch (24.5 cm) base and weighs 3.81 kg. Carefully handcrafted by skilled Nepali artisans, the statue is formed from a copper body and enhanced with silver plating and detailed acrylic painting. The luminous silver surface defines the Buddha’s serene form, while the painted features add subtle color and clarity to his face, monastic robes, and lotus pedestal. Its balanced proportions and substantial presence make it suitable for a Buddhist altar, meditation room, teaching space, or spiritual art collection.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted seated in the vajra posture and dressed in the simple robes of an ordained monk. His right hand extends across his knee in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, recalling the moment he called the earth to witness his enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. His left hand rests in meditative equipoise and traditionally supports an alms bowl, reflecting his renunciation and disciplined way of life. The ushnisha, elongated earlobes, gently lowered eyes, and peaceful expression convey concentration and awakened understanding. As the historical Buddha and teacher of the Dharma, his presence represents the path of ethical conduct, meditation, and wisdom leading toward freedom from suffering.
