Traditionally Hand Carved Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture Nepal
The Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture was handcrafted in our studio in Nepal. The exquisite halo illuminates his face as he sits atop a moon disc lotus seat with a serene and peaceful expression. The statue is carved from a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold, and finely painted with acrylic paint, which highlights the intricate design patterns of the statue. His left hand is carrying an alms bowl as he is seated on a beautifully hand-carved lotus seat, and his right hand is slightly touching the ground beneath him, which signifies his attained enlightenment. This figurine will make the ideal present for a practitioner like you from Nepal and may be utilized in several Buddhist rites and meditation activities.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
