Traditionally Handmade Shakyamuni Buddha Statue Art
We sculpted this magnificent Shakyamuni Buddha statue art in our workshop situated in Kathmandu Nepal. A hand-carved Shakyamuni Buddha is seated on a lotus-shaped cushion statue with a calm and peaceful expression. Made from a copper body gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted the statue with acrylic paint highlighting the design of the deity. His left hand is depicted doing the witness gesture Dhyana Mudra while his right hand is implied to be making the Bhumispara Mudra while holding a vase with his palm up and placing it upon his lap. You can use this figurine for different Buddhist Rituals and meditational practices, and it will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you.

All philosophies commemorate various events in the Buddha Gautama's life, such as his birth, enlightenment, and ascension to nirvana. All three events are celebrated on the same day in some countries, known as Vesak in Southeast Asia. The title buddha was used by various religious groups and had multiple meanings. Still, it came to be most strongly associated with the Buddhist tradition and to mean an enlightened being. He is regarded as the one who has awakened from the sleep of ignorance and achieved freedom from suffering. According to various Buddhist traditions, there have been Buddhas in the past, and there will be Buddhas in the future.
